Gastro Meat

The team at The Cookery will take you on an amazing journey showing precise and delicate foods that are bursting with flavour and are visually stunning on the table. This is a course for those that have confidence whilst cooking or are ready to be challenged. No shouting or swearing at you (unless you pay extra) and we don't expect you to win Master Chef after only one session. A great session for meat lovers. Get to know a Sirloin from a flat iron and a chop from a chump. Venison and game when in season is always an amazing alternative to your normal Sunday roast.

There's so much more to a BBQ then just burning your undercooked chicken! It's all about preparation and planning. Marinades, rubs and brushes are essential parts of your BBQ that make the real difference. During this course you will learn how to marinade steak, chicken and fish, and don't forget the all important salads, dips and nibbles to go with your perfectly barbecued food.

Seafood Course

Fish is great any day but Friday is a special day for us at The Cookery. Our local Fish Monger will join the team on Friday to teach you how to choose and prepare the best of the local seasonal catch as well as amazing international fish, shellfish and other delicious treasures from the sea. You will never look back once you have learnt to griddle, pan fry, stir fry, grill or steam your fish, understanding what to choose from the fish stall and being confident to know what to do with it. Fish is said to be brain food - you would have to be crazy to miss this course!
