  • Seafood Course

Fish is great any day but Friday is a special day for us at The Cookery. Our local Fish Monger will join the team on Friday to teach you how to choose and prepare the best of the local seasonal catch as well as amazing international fish, shellfish and other delicious treasures from the sea. You will never look back once you have learnt to griddle, pan fry, stir fry, grill or steam your fish, understanding what to choose from the fish stall and being confident to know what to do with it. Fish is said to be brain food - you would have to be crazy to miss this course!

  • Kids Baking Club

Look out for our quick two hours kid's sessions. During school term it's on a Friday afternoon and during school holidays it's on a Wednesday.
We will work with the kids to make a range of baked treats. Cakes, biscuits and macarons are all part of the fun baking session at The Cookery. . . don't worry we will make sure they wash their hands first!

    Minimum age 8 years.

  • Baking - Sunday Mornings

Imagine being able to kick off a Sunday with your very own freshly baked, homemade bread, croissants or focaccia. . . that is going to get you so many brownie points! This is a course for those who want to push their baking skills beyond the basics and learn the fine art of dough making, pastry making, lamination and how to get that perfectly light, crisp delicious pastry.

  • Kids' Parties

A truely great time is had by all, including us! Our parties can host 10 - 18 kids who will make their own party food and also make and decorate cupcakes to take home and share. We will supply water, squash and fruit juices. . . and clean up the mess after.

A responsible adult, known to the children, is required to be in attendance and is welcome to join in or sit and have a coffee in our reception area which overlooks the kitchen.
